Achievement Award for Scientific and Administrative Excellence

The American Peptide Society continues to look for ways to recognize and honor those who have made important and long lasting contributions to our field.

RAO S. RAPAKA, Ph.D., was selected as the recipient of this award based on the depth of his range of scientific knowledge of the neuro-biochemistry of peptide science and his 25 years of continuous contributions to the field of peptide science, including organizing dozens of mini-symposia, review articles and focused journal special editions in our field. The award was presented at the 19th American Peptide Symposium in San Diego in 2005.
