The Vincent du Vigneaud Award

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The 2011 Vincent du Vigneaud Awards for outstanding achievement in peptide research will be presented to two recipients at the 22nd American Peptide Symposium in San Diego, California. These Awards are intended to recognize scientific excellence at mid-career.

Nominations for the du Vigneaud Award should include the following items, assembled into a single PDF file.

  1. A letter of nomination from the primary nominator (1,000 word limit).
  2. The nominee's Curriculum Vitae and list of publications.
  3. Up to three selected reprints from the nominee's group.
  4. One additional ('seconding') letter (500 word limit).

Nominating documents should be submitted by 1 October 2010. Nominations for the 2010 Vincent du Vigneaud Award will be reviewed for a second time, but it is preferred that these nominations be updated. Award winners must be able to attend the APS in June 2011.

Individuals contemplating a nomination are encouraged to contact the Awards Committee Chair with questions.
